EMDEV and WSO2 entered into a partnership agreement in 2017. However, in 2018, WSO2 completely revised the affiliate program, partners types and levels. As a result of negotiations, EMDEV received the status of Value Added Reseller (VAR) - the only one not only in Russia, but throughout the region. As a partner with a VAR level, EMDEV will promote WSO2 products in Russia and other countries in the region.

WSO2 is a leading open source integration solution. WSO2 is a comprehensive solution consisting of more than 20 products covering the whole range of tasks from integrating and managing APIs to analytics and managing access rights. All WSO2 products are distributed under a fully open source license. 

The flagship product for managing the API WSO2 API Manager was reported as the leader in The Forrester Wave ™ report (Q4 2018):

“WSO2’s open source solution provides a solid base for a variety of API strategies. As the only fully open source solution in our Forrester Wave analysis, WSO2 provides good breadth across all evaluation criteria.”

Since the beginning of 2019, several successful implementations of WSO2 solutions have taken place in Russia and the CIS countries.
