The 2nd practical conference on Open Banking platforms and Open API was held in Moscow on May 30, 2019

Open APIs in the banking industry are gaining increasing popularity all over the world — through government programs or at the initiative of banks themselves. Russian market is ready to be open, as the conference showed.

Why clients need Open Banking? What will financial institutions get by giving access to their services? How necessary is external regulation of Open Banking processes? These, and other relevant issues and questions, were discussed at the conference.

Market participants discussed the future of Open Banking in three years. They are quite optimistic and consentient that there will be many interesting projects with clear terms, there will be many inter-industry solutions, from which the consumer will benefit.
